Kemtile strengthens contracts management team with Wayne Briers appointment
Kemtile, the hygienic flooring, wall systems and drainage specialists based in Warrington, has appointed Wayne Briers to further strengthen its contracts management team.
Formerly with Murraywood Construction for 13 years, Wayne was first introduced to Kemtile during a joint project for Dairy Crest.
Wayne's understanding of wider construction projects is set to greatly enhance Kemtile's already excellent service offering, advising on complete floor design, backed up with its own skilled installation teams and site supervision, for clients in the food and drink manufacturing sector.
Wayne said: "I'm delighted to join what I've long believed to be the hardest working team in the business here at Kemtile. My previous experience stands me in good stead to add even greater value to its already enviable service offering and I'm very much looking forward to developing my role and sector experience here.
"It's my job to manage new and existing business opportunities, project schedules, labour and materials and generally be a key point of contact throughout the entire duration of the project, helping to ensure our on time, first time promise to customers."
Stephen Westley, Managing Director at Kemtile, says: "With the addition of Wayne's construction experience, we're now better equipped to meet needs of smaller businesses.
"We've long been askedto advise on broader building solutionslinked to flooring work and Wayne's appointment enables us to expand our service offering to meet this need. To provide this level of service demands an understanding beyond flooring specification and installation, which is vital for performance and durability. Wayne can do that for us."
Wayne continued: "Because I got to know Stephen and other Kemtile team members in a previous role, they had already imparted a huge amount of technical and product knowledge before I even got a job here.
"The company has an incredible reputation and I hope to help expand their capabilities, providing excellent flooring solutions to overcome construction challenges, which will open up broader opportunities in the food and drink sector."
