Kemtile Takes A Stand For Hygienic Flooring And Drainage At Food Safety Conference

Kemtile will be representing hygienic flooring and drainage, and the essential role it plays in terms of food hygiene and supply chain safety, at a CPD training programme at the University of Salford this week.

As the longest established Ucrete licensed applicator in the world, Kemtile is exhibiting in partnership with the manufacturer of the leading polyurethane screed, BASF Master® Builders Solutions.

‘The Future of Food Safety Conference: From production to consumption' will see leading experts discuss the latest developments within the industry. They will explore the latest innovations in hygienic food storage and transportation, identify strengths and weaknesses in delegates' food safety strategies and advise on how to check if supply chains are delivering secure and sustainable products. It will look ahead and anticipate how the FSA's strategic plan will impact on attending organisations.

As a leading supplier to some of the UK's leading food and beverage manufacturing companies since 1979, Kemtile has installed thousands of state-of-the-art flooring and drainage systems that help safeguard operational efficiencies and meet the most stringent health and safety legislation.

Alongside seminars from Dr Colin Sullivan, Chief Operating Officer of the Food Standards Agency and Jon Poole, Chief Executive of the Institute of Food Science and Technology, to name just two, Kemtile will showcase its sectoral capabilities through previous project experience and product ranges from market-leading suppliers such as BASF (UCRETE), KAGETEC ARGELITH (MV Tech) and WIEDEMANN-TECHNIK.

These include fast track weekend shutdown work to extensive full refurbishment projects and new builds for brands such as Rhokett, Brioche Pasquier UK, Coca Cola, GCL Food Ingredients, A.G. Barr, Grassroots Foods and AB InBev.

Kemtile's David Priest said: "We have almost four decades' experience and expertise under our belts, and an enviable reputation for doing a job once, and doing it well, we're now firmly positioned as one of the market leaders when it comes to hygienic flooring and drainage solutions within the beverage industry.

"It goes without saying that we're delighted to attend the conference to speak about what we do and the importance it has. Our presence at The Future of Food Safety Conference will provide us with yet another brilliant opportunity to showcase exactly what we do and how we operate amongst what is a very important audience for us."
