Colleagues say goodbye to 'trooper'
Friends and colleagues of Paul Worthington were remembering him fondly today (29th March) as his funeral took place in Wigan.
He had worked at the hygienic flooring specialists for over 30 years and was described as a trooper' by all those who worked with him.
After a long battle with cancer, including a stem cell replacement operation last year, Paul had had the all clear in January and was ready to come back to work in a phased return.
Unfortunately before he could do so he contracted Covid-19, ending up in intensive care, and sadly passed away a few weeks ago.
Jamie Cook, Operations Director at Kemtile, said that Paul had been respected and appreciated by all who knew him. "Our thoughts go out to all Paul's close friends and family at this difficult time."
