Kemtile Achieves Iso 45001 Standard For Health And Safety Management Systems
Kemtile has announced that it has achieved the ISO 45001 accreditation in-line with the wider Stonhard Group standard.
Since becoming a Stonhard company in 2018, the company has closely examined its processes to determine where improvements in health and safety and risk management procedures could be made.
Teams at its Cheshire HQ and across the UK, working at all levels and in all departments of the business, have worked hard on assessment results, resulting in the leading hygienic flooring designer and installer being awarded ISO 45001.
Kemtile is now installing all Stonhard epoxy, polyurethane flooring, wall and lining systems with the new standard in place.
Kemtile Operations Manager Chris Cloherty said: "Considering the restrictions that have been in place over the past 12 months, this is a fantastic achievement and will give our customers the assurance they need that the design, installation and maintenance activities we carry out on their behalf are being done safely and in line with all legal requirements."
"The ISO 45001 standard means that, going forward, colleagues at all levels in the business will have a much greater involvement in the identification and management of health and safety risks through greater consultation and participation."
Chris continued: "Strong leadership, as well as giving colleagues the voice, knowledge and skills, will help ensure we continue to develop a safety culture at Kemtile that's rooted in our day-to-day roles as well as industry best practice."
