Cleanrock Kerbs help Kemtile convert flooring solutions contract for global baking industry giant
Hygienic flooring specialists Kemtile have been appointed by a global yeast and bakery ingredients company to provide a flooring and kerb solution for the company's new yeast plant.
Kemtile recommended a durable, impact-resistant and heavy duty polyurethane solution, which is hygienic, high-performing and suitable for use in a busy manufacturing facility, as well as CleanRock Kerbs from Polysto, the kerb solution of choice for hygienic food production facilities.
The company was very keen to install the HACCP-approved prefabricated kerb system alongside the flooring due to its advantages over stainless steel kerbs.
The kerb system is made by moulding polyester resins and quartz granules and is then finished with a bacteriostatic and shock-resistant polyester gel coat.
This makes it highly chemical, impact and water resistant and provides maximum risk protection from listeria and other bacterial contaminations.
Operating in all parts of the world the yeast manufacturing company is committed to creating a food manufacturing environment that satisfies the highest standards of hygiene.
With over 40 years experience in food and beverage manufacturing, including the bakery sector, Kemtile is particularly well placed to advise the yeast manufacturer and have worked for the company on previous jobs, providing a single source solution.
Speaking about the new contract, George Morton, Area Sales Manager at Kemtile said:
"The company needed a contractor who could provide high performance hygienic floor finishes as well as HACCP-accredited kerbs. At Kemtile we are well used to supplying certified products and installing solutions to give customers maximum durability, longevity and peace of mind."
